On July 4–5 2025, the city of Prato hosted the second round of the 2025 ACI Sport Italian Drifting Championship—an event that confirmed the growing popularity of this high-adrenaline motorsport. The weekend drew a strong crowd at the track and over 100,000 viewers tuning in via television and streaming platforms. As the main sponsor of Team GasBas, FAR is proud to support driver Francesco Giori, who once again demonstrated determination, technical skill, and true sportsmanship.
Despite a mechanical failure during qualifying—a broken clutch just meters into the run—the team worked tirelessly through the night to get the car back on track in time for the main event. Giori went on to win his first battle and led the second with confidence, but an unfortunate contact damaged a wheel and compromised the return run. The final result—a 5th place overall—is a testament to the strength of the team’s performance and the resilience shown throughout the weekend.
